Opening soon in Montmartre

The latest addition to the Touriste group in Montmartre, Hôtel Luxia, will soon open its doors at the foot of the Butte, just steps away from the Sacré-Cœur. As the group's seventh hotel, this new 44-room address is nestled between the bustle of the Marché Saint-Pierre and the neighborhood’s more secluded side streets, in a Montmartre that is vibrant, artistic, and profoundly Parisian.

Designed in collaboration with Necchi Architecture—following their first joint project at Hôtel Château d’Eau—Luxia continues the group’s signature approach: imagining singular spaces where decor, atmosphere, and the local neighborhood are integral to the guest experience.

Intimate and human-scale, the hotel was conceived as an urban refuge faithful to the Touriste spirit: a base from which to explore Paris, but also a place where one chooses to linger, carried by the unique ambiance of the setting.

The project draws inspiration from 1990s modernist interiors, characterized by sensual minimalism and silent sophistication. A deliberately restrained palette—light sycamore, faux suede, and high-gloss lacquer—structures the spaces, while integrated, continuous volumes allow furniture and architecture to merge, creating enveloping environments.

In the guest rooms, checkerboard cork applied to the walls and ceilings creates an immersive, hushed envelope. Both graphic and protective, it is designed as a sanctuary in the heart of the city.

The spa introduces a different intensity. More nocturnal, glossier, and almost cinematic, it pays tribute to the creative and free-spirited energy of Montmartre—capturing that moment where nightlife, art, and experimentation collide.
